Information for Chairpersons

Chairpersons are asked to ensure all sessions start and finish punctually as scheduled.

Information for Speakers

Presentation Format

• Only single screened PC presentation is accepted for oral presentation.
• Please kindly visit the Speakers' Media Center at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled presentation time to register/check the presentation materials.
• Please come and sit at "Next Speaker Seat" which is situated at the front left of each room at least 10 minutes before your allocated time.

Presentation Data

Basic Format

• Presentation data will be accepted either by bringing your presentations⇒it on a USB flash memory or by bringing your own laptop PC.
  ※Please bring your own connection cable for the projector if you are using Macintosh PC for your presentation.
  ※If the presentation materials are created on Macintosh and the videos are included, please bring your own PC.
• Projector resolution is 1920×1080 (Full HD)
• Preferred aspect ratio for presentation materials is 16:9 format.

Bringing your presentation data on USB flash memory.

• The Congress will prepare a PC spec as follows.
  OS: Windows10 Application: Power Point for Microsoft 365
• Only fonts which are included in the basic installation of Windows 10 will be available.
  To avoid character corruption or wrong layout, please use the basic installed fonts.
  English: Arial, Century, Times New Roman
• If videos are included in your presentation, please prepare them in the format which is playable on Windows Media Player.
  Recommended video format is mp4 or wmv.
• Your submitted presentation data will be deleted on our responsibility after the end of the congress.

Using your own PC

• Connecting to the projector is by HDMI or Mini D-Sub 15 pin only.
  Please bring the conversion connection cable if your PC is not compatible with stated connectors.

Information for Poster presenters

• Chairpersons will guide the presentation for each presenter in front of their own poster, presentation for 3 minutes and Q&A for 3 minutes, once Chairpersons and presenters of the group are ready during the poster presentation session.
• Discussion will be conducted at the discretion of the Chairpersons of each group if time allows.
• Please refer the Poster Layout instruction below for the size of the panel.
• Please install the poster yourself on the pre-numbered panel during the allocated time.
• The poster number on the top left corner of the panel will be provided by the ASCPaLM congress secretariat.
• Push pins will be provided by the ASCPaLM congress secretariat.
• The ASCPaLM congress secretariat will discard posters that are left after the poster removal time.

For Chairpersons

All Chairpersons are requested to register at the Poster session reception desk no later than 10 minutes prior to the session starts.

Presentation time is 6 minutes per person (presentation 3 minutes and Q&A 3 minutes).

• Please install the poster at the allocated space of the Poster presentation venue, which is situated on the 2nd floor of Ariston Hotel Kobe.
• Chairpersons will guides the presentation for each presenter in front of their own poster, presentation for 3 minutes and Q&A for 3 minutes, once Chairperson and presenters of the group are ready during the poster presentation session.
• Discussion will be conducted at the discretion of the Chairpersons of each group if time allows.
• Please refer the Poster Layout instruction below for the size of the panel.
• Please install the poster by yourself on the pre-numbered panel during the allocated time.
• The poster number on the top left corner of the panel will be provided by the ASCPaLM congress secretariat.

Poster Layout

On the top left corner of your poster reserve a space 20cm wide x 20 cm high for the poster number provided by the ASCPaLM congress secretariat. This number will also be identified in the program, so participants who have an interest in your poster can easily find it.
